The 12th annual Carlow African Film Festival takes place tonight.
This year, CAFF celebrates the 40th anniversary of Soweto Uprising of 1976 – in which hundreds of students were killed.
A screening of the world acclaimed film ‘Sarafina’ is how the organisers are celebrating this anniversary.
Special guest on the night is Leleti Khumalo who played the part of Sarafina in the film.
It takes place at the Visual Arts Centre in Carlow tonight from 7:30pm.
