15 local foodie finalists are heading for the Irish Food Awards.
Dingle in County Kerry is hosting the three-day Blás na hEireann event – winners will be announced on Saturday.
Kilkenny is represented by Arán Bakery & Bistro, Callan Bacon, Eurospar Kilkenny, Goats Bridge Trout, Lekker food collection, Outdoors Herbalist, TCF Foods trading as Lisduggan Farm Foods and Tirlán.
While Carlow contenders are Bolton Family Jam, Lynch’s For Goodness Cakes, Murphys’s Craft Butcher’s, New Moon Restaurant Tullow, Royal Oak Distillery, Seerys and Sunshine Juice Ltd.
