The 17 people with intellectual disabilities will be at the centre of any decision on the future of Camphill in Ballytobin.
That’s according to Disabilities Minister Finian McGrath who met some of the residents and their parents in the Co Kilkenny facility this afternoon. He also met local representatives including Deputy Bobby Aylward, Councillors Joe Malone, Pat Dunphy and Malcolm Noonan.
Minister McGrath says he will return to meet more of the residents in the near future.
Speaking to KCLR, he said a resolution has to be found between all parties involved.
