Two people suffered minor injuries in a car crash on the Carlow to Hackettstown road this lunchtime.
The road between Carlow Town and Kilerig had to be closed for a couple of hours while the two-car crash was cleared but it has now been reopened.

Emergency services treated a man and a woman at the scene and they have now been taken to St Luke’s Hospital in Kilkenny.
However Gardai have confirmed their injuries are not serious.
