More than 20 arrests made in Thomastown district as Operation Storm finishes this evening

24 arrests were made as part of Operation Storm in the Thomastown area today.

The operation has come to a close this evening with 12 people charged so far for offences including theft, burglary and drugs.

Two people have been remanded to Cloverhill Prison.

Five drugs seizures of cannabis and heroin were made after 13 premises were searched.

Upwards of 40 checkpoints were also carried out by the 65 Gardaí and 24 trainee Gardaí.
