The first of the funds in the Kilkenny Lions Christmas Hamper Appeal have landed.
The Farm Show with Matt O’Keeffe kicked off the annual fundraiser last night for those in need locally with more than 20 donated items successfully bid on.
The initiative continues next Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday but Lion Eddie Holohan says after last night, they’re off to a great start, telling KCLR News this morning; “It was a very successful evening with all except one item cleared to the value of in excess of €4,000”.
He adds; “A sincere thank you to all our bidders and all our supporters for this wonderful support – thank you!”.
