More candidates have been selected to run for a seat in the European Parliament in May in this constituency.
Fine Gael held its selection convention for Ireland South in Clonmel yesterday evening.

Sitting MEP’s Deirdre Clune and Seán Kelly will bid to retain their seats and they will be joined on the ticket by Wicklow TD Andrew Doyle.
Meanwhile Labour has selected Sheila Nunan as its candidate for Ireland South.
The outgoing General secretary of INTO will be the their only candidate in the constituency.
