
The owners of Dan Morrisseys in Carlow have until 5pm this evening to get the company into examinership or 160 jobs will be lost there.
Recievers moved into the company this week and gave them todays deadline and if its not met the company will be liquidated.
Workers were locked out of the sites in Bennekerry and Clonmelsh from Wednesday evening and met yesterday in their Bennekerry head quarters to discuss what was happening and hear from Union reps.
Meanwhile Carlow County Council have called a special meeting to take place at 3:30 this afternoon to discuss the matter.
Carlow TD Pat Deering says examinership is their last hope.
