A 9-year-old Kilkenny girl and her friend will play football in Croke Park today

A song written by a nine-year old Kilkenny girl has won her and her friend a chance to play football in Croke Park today.

Railyard Under-10s will be one of the teams taking part in the exhibition matches at half time during the Ladies Finals at GAA HQ.

All applicants for the honour were asked to submit a poem or an essay or something to tell them about the club and the team.

But Nine year old Ruby Roche went a step further and composed a song that she got her teammate to help her record.
