New TD Kathleen Funchion uses first Dáil speech to highlight housing issues

Kathleen Funchion used her maiden speech in Dáil Éireann last night to highlight housing issues.

The newly elected Sinn Féin Deputy had speaking time and took the opportunity to raise the lack of social housing and emergency accommodation in Carlow and Kilkenny.

She called for solutions and answers to the problem of people living with the reality of having to raise their families in hotel rooms.
