The first phase of works for the Kilkenny Central Access Scheme are now completed.
That’s according to Kilkenny County Council’s website.
Kilkenny County Council has confirmed that the first phase of the Kilkenny Central Access Scheme is now completed.
Phase 2 is next on the agenda.
In the coming four to five weeks, extensive works will be undertaken in the area of Wolfe Tone Street, Michael Street and Greensbridge Street to enable the integration of these streets with the scheme.
The council is advising that these works will cause temporary disruption and inconvenience – and say they are working to minimise the level of disruption to locals.
A further notice to residents will be issued later in the year – but if anyone has any queries about the works, they’re being asked to contact the County Council directly.
