Ed Sheeran mania grips Kilkenny as campers gather outside ticket venue two days in advance

It seems Ed Sheeran mania has already gripped Kilkenny!

About 30 teenagers and young people are camping outside Rollercoaster Records in the city – some of them there since 3.30PM on Tuesday.

Tickets for his 3 Arena gigs go on general release tomorrow morning at 10AM.

Fans will face a scramble for tickets in the morning with Sheeran having run a pre sale early Tuesday on his own website before 3 mobile customers got access to a second pre sale on Wednesday morning.

In both instances, tickets were snapped up in minutes for his April 12 and 13 shows.

Sheeran returns to the gig circuit after a year off. His new album, Divide, is out next month.
