19 arrests in Carlow so far as Operation Storm underway again

19 arrests have been made in Carlow since Monday under the latest Garda operation in the district.

The 3-day Operation Storm culminates today in Carlow town but Gardaí have already focused their interests on Tullow and Hacketstown and Bagenalstown and Borris in recent days.

90 Gardai are involved in the high-visibility operation.

The arrests so far have been for crimes including thefts, burglaries, criminal damage, assaults and a sexual assault.
