Students Union calling for people to consider renting any spare rooms to students

The rush by students to find a place to stay has led to calls for local people to consider renting out a spare room they might have.

There’s already a shortage of housing in Carlow and with third level students already hunting for accommodation in the run up to the new college year it’s likely there won’t be enough available to meet their needs.

A return to the more traditional digs can be beneficial in a number of ways.
