Nobody waiting in Carlow or Kilkenny for the provision of homecare support for elderly people

The provision of homecare support for elderly people has become a “postcode lottery”, according to new figures.

They show over six thousand people are on a waiting list for urgent home help around the country.

However figures in the Irish Times today show that in CarlowKilkenny there is nobody waiting.

674 are waiting in Galway followed by 623 in north Dublin.
