Kilkenny Tenor performs at funeral of former US President George HW Bush

A North Kilkenny singer has performed at the funeral of former US President George HW Bush.

The New York Times reports that Tenor Ronan Tynan from Johnstown also sang Silent Night & an Irish song to the former President during his final hours. While he previously sang Amazing Grace at Ronald Reagan’s funeral service in 2004.

Today he put vocals to Last Full Measure of Devotion, accompanied by the Armed Forces Chorus & the United States Corps Orchestra.
