Carlow Councillors to get an update on paid parking proposal for Graiguecullen

Councillors in Carlow Town will be getting an update today on the situation regarding paid parking in Graiguecullen.

The plan is to only introduce the parking in business areas and not in residential areas.

The proposal to introduce some sort of parking charges in Graiguecullen was agreed at a meeting of the councillors back in August.

Speaking to KCLR News, local councillor Walter Lacey says nothing’s been set in stone yet but they will see a report today with submissions that locals have made during the consultation process.
