INMO members in Carlow & Kilkenny to consider Labour court recommendations this evening

INMO members from across the region will meet in Kilkenny this evening to consider their position.

The nurses & midwives will be asked to vote on March 11 on the proposals which halted their strike action.

Exactly what’s on offer will be outlined in full to local members at a special presentation with questions & answers session at the Newpark Hotel from 7:30pm.

Liz Curran is the Industrial Relations Officer for the INMO in this area. She will be there along with a national official from the union.

She told KCLR news they will go through the Labour court recommendation in detail and to explain the content to members ahead of the upcoming ballot.
