Despite Ireland’s commitments to reduce reliance on fossil fuels, Bill Madigan from Windgap Co Kilkenny, who set up Kilogen, a Green Energy Company in 2007, is no longer growing the biofuel crop, miscanthus, because currently there is no market for it.
