I’ve been very bold the last little while, and haven’t paid as much attention to my blog as I should have. My New Years Resolution is to change that and keep you all up to date with my goings-on.
Where to begin? Well, its been a busy start to the new year, plenty of outside broadcasts to keep me busy. I usually act as the studio engineer back at KCLR HQ for the presenters out and about. This is always a fun job, it’s very seat of the pants stuff, and always trying to think 1-2 steps ahead. I’ve also begun some in-house training for some other roles within the station. Always very important to be as flexible and be able to multi-task as much as possible in local radio.

I’ve had this stuck in my head all week. Alice Cooper has always been one of my favourite recording artists, he released a follow up album to his infamous 1975 album Welcome To My Nightmare in 2011, entitled…Welcome 2 My Nightmare.
This song is my favourite song of the newer album, combining a great theme of being the last mortal being alive, ala Vincent Price in the film of the same name, and a great swaggering tune.
