Celebrating our culture, heritage and everything that makes us Irish is the theme of the new single from The Kilkennys. Aptly named ‘The Gathering’, the song was written by the band while on tour in Denmark in October 2012 in a bid to promote Ireland to the many thousands of people they perform to all over the world.
From the glamour and glitz of Las Vegas to the arenas of Balve in Germany, the theatres in Denmark and the Irish music halls in Holland and everywhere in between, The Kilkennys want to promote a little more than just Irish music. It’s the year of The Gathering and The Kilkennys want to make sure it’s one hell of a party.
