Emergency services attending crash on Kilkenny to Freshford Road this morning

Care is needed on the Freshford road in Kilkenny following a single car crash in the area before 7am.

Emergency services are attending the scene which is close to the Rock Bar.

Eyewitnesses have described one vehicle on its side but Gardaí say no serious injuries have been reported.

The road remains open to traffic but care is needed on the approach.
