The death has taken place of Margaret Brophy (née Byrne),
Former NS Teacher at Ardough National School, Bilboa, Co Carlow) Fairymount, Crettyard, Co Laois and formerly of Rosebank, Avoca, Co Wicklow.
Passed away peacefully, on June 22nd, 2024, under the wonderful care of the Nurses and Staff at Aut Even Hospital, Co Kilkenny.
Reposing in Carpenter's Bros Funeral Home, Shamrock Sq., Carlow (Eircode R93 C863) from 3pm on Tuesday, June 25th, concluding with Prayers at 7pm that evening.
Removal on Wednesday at 10.15am to St. Abban's Church, Doonane, Crettyard, Co. Laois, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am.
Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.
