Kilkenny men involved in the Men’s Shed Movements are celebrating their part in a brand new World Record.

REPRO FREE ***PRESS RELEASE NO REPRODUCTION FEE*** EDITORIAL USE ONLY The Irish Men’s Shed Association Sponsored by Flogas Achieve Official Guinness World Record for the Largest Display of Kettles 19/11/2024 The Irish Men’s Shed Association, sponsored by energy company Flogas, have successfully achieved the official Guinness World Record for the Largest Display of Kettles. Kettles are the most important tool in supporting social connection and mental wellbeing for ‘Shedders’. Over one thousand new and old kettles in working order collected from Sheds nationwide and donated by Flogas were on display at the Association’s annual conference and shedfest in Mucklagh Community Centre, Tullamore, Co. Offaly on Tuesday 19th November 2024. At their national conference yesterday their attempt at gathering the most working electric kettles was verified.

Groups from across the country collectively presented 1 thousand and 90 kettles and just one was rejected as it had a 2 pin plug.

So the winning total came in at 1,089.
