Huge tailbacks reported following crash on N80 between Ballon in Carlow and Bunclody in Wexford

Gardaí say the road is closed with local diversions in place – no injuries have been reported – investigations are ongoing.

Emergency services are dealing with a crash on the Carlow / Wexford border.

It happened after 8am on the N80 at Boggan Hill, on the Bunclody side of Ballon.

Eye witnesses have told KCLR News that Gardaí, paramedics and fire personnel are at the scene.

It’s not yet known if anybody’s been injured.

There are huge tailbacks in both directions and motorists are asked to avoid the stretch.
