Major tailbacks on N76 Callan / Kilkenny road

Huge tailbacks are being experienced on the N76 Callan Kilkenny road this morning.

There are works taking place at Tullamaine with a stop/go traffic light system in operation since yesterday.

Those travelling at peak hours on the already busy commuter route need to allow for extra time while the management system continues.

Eye witnesses have this told KCLR News that the 9am queue of vehicles stretches from the works site to the Callan bypass while it’s equally as busy approaching the works from the opposite direction.
