Search for missing Kilkenny woman stood down following discovery of a body

The search for a woman missing from Kilkenny has been stood down.

50-year-old Fiona Booth from Gowran hadn’t been seen since Tuesday, 4th February,

Gardaí issued an appeal on Saturday evening for information regarding her whereabouts.

In an update to KCLR News last night a spokesperson noted that the appeal has been stood down following the discovery of a woman’s body.

All who assisted are thanked for their help.
