Gardaí are seeking further help after a man was hospitalised following an alleged assault in Kilkenny city.
The incident happened on New Building Lane at about 11:30pm last Thursday (6th Feb).
Sgt John Duffy has been telling KCLR News an investigation continues, saying; “What we’re looking for is any information that people may have regarding the event, we obviously call around to the buildings in the area and the people in the area to ask them if they have CCTV or anything like that”.
He adds; “In case we missed anyone in the area if you have any CCTV of the area around New Building Lane either coming or going or actually on the lane itself we’d be very interested in hearing from you, it’d be the Gardaí and Detectives in Kilkenny that are dealing with that incident”.
