Good news for Carlow and Kilkenny students doing apprenticeships

SOLAS, the state training agency, says a funding issue impacting the 2025 apprenticeship budget has been resolved.

Apprentices were concerned phases in their courses were being stopped from September, due to a lack of funding.

However SOLAS says detailed scheduling and delivery planning for all craft apprenticeship phases for the remainder of the year has been completed.

Scheduling has now commenced and apprentices and their employers can expect correspondence from this week on.
