Kilkenny food producer vows “we’ll be back” after last night’s Great Taste Awards

A Kilkenny food producer has vowed ‘we’ll be back’ after being pipped to the post in last night’s Great Taste awards.

Goatsbridge Trout Farm in Thomastown had been one of three shortlisted in the Golden Fork from Ireland category at the London based ceremony last night – Green Pastures from Donegal took home that title.

Mag Kirwan issued the following on her socials; “”Didn’t win the golden fork, obviously disappointed, but … we’re so proud to get three stars and we’ll be back again”
