Speed reduction agreed for stretch of south Kilkenny road

Kilkenny councillors have agreed to reduce the speed limit on a dangerous stretch of the N25.

Following public consultation which saw 80 submissions lodged, elected members voted at their monthly meeting last evening to reduce the speed from 100km/hr to 80km.

This affects the stretch between the Luffany roundabout and about 500m north of the Ballinclare Junction.
