Kilkenny hurling will be represented at this year’s PwC All-Star Awards, with Martin Keoghan and Huw Lawlor both named among the 2025 All-Star team announced ahead of Friday night’s gala event at the RDS.
For Tullaroan’s Martin Keoghan, the honour marks a special family milestone. Selected at corner-forward, he follows in the footsteps of his father Liam, who won an All-Star in 1997. Keoghan’s performances across the championship, where he hit 6-15, were central to Kilkenny’s attack and cemented his place among the season’s standout forwards.
At the other end of the field, Lawlor’s inclusion caps another impressive season in the black and amber. The O’Loughlin Gaels man, already a two-time All-Star winner, is once again recognised among the best full-backs in the country.
All-Ireland champions Tipperary lead the 2025 selection with seven players, followed by Cork with four, while Galway and Dublin each have one representative. Jake Morris, Brian Hayes, and John McGrath are shortlisted for the Hurler of the Year award, which will be presented alongside the football All-Stars on Friday night.
