The details for Danesfort’s AIB Leinster Club Intermediate Hurling Final have now been confirmed, with the Kilkenny champions set to take on Ratoath in Navan on Sunday, December 7th.
Throw-in is scheduled for 1.30pm, and the game will be broadcast live on KCLR.
Danesfort are not only the Kilkenny intermediate hurling champions, but also the intermediate camogie county champions, a double that reflects what many inside the parish consider a golden period.
On this week’s KCLR Hurling Podcast post-match edition, Club Chairperson Catherine Cuniffe offered an insight into the spirit driving the success.
“We have a great team of people out in Danesfort’s phenomenal community,” she said. “Personally, I like to dot my i’s, cross my t’s, and I’m a firm believer in looking after the small things and doing them to the best that you can do them. Working hard, accountability and commitment — that’s what we’re about in our community, in our parish and in the club. It’s just extraordinary.”
As excitement builds ahead of the Leinster final, supporters can hear more from Catherine Cuniffe as well as full analysis of Danesfort’s journey on the KCLR Hurling Podcast, thanks to Morrissey Motors Peugeot Kilkenny.
