Shamrock Rovers manager James O’Callaghan has spoken of his delight following the signing of Irish international Ellen Molloy.
The Kilkenny native has joined the Hoops from Wexford, bringing with her plenty of League of Ireland experience despite being just 21 years of age.

Speaking to the Shamrock Rovers website, O’Callaghan said the club moved quickly once the opportunity to sign Molloy presented itself.
“Ellen is a fabulous player,” he said. “She has been around the league a long time and she’s still only 21. We had some really good chats and Ellen felt that she wanted a change of scenery.

“We seemed to get on well straight away, so we’re absolutely delighted that she wanted to come to Rovers.”
