Carlow’s ladies football team continue their strong start to the season, winning all four of their opening games in the Lidl Ladies Football League Division 4.
When speaking to The Edge of the Square Podcast, Carlows Clíodhna Ní Shé says the changes to the rules introduced this season, including the two-point score and the solo-and-go, have made the game faster and more enjoyable.
“It’s less stop-start and there’s less kind of cynical fouling, so it’s definitely enjoyable and much quicker. I think it’s still quite unclear with the tackle rule, week on week there’s different amounts of contact allowed,” Ní Shé told the Edge of the Square Podcast.
Carlow now prepare to face Derry this Sunday at 2 pm at S.E.T.U., hoping to maintain their perfect start under the new rules.
