A new music offering’s on the way to our locality.
Live at Castle Mills is a new tented concert series set to take place in the heart of Kilkenny city on riverside parkland just beneath the grounds of Kilkenny Castle.
It’s launching in partnership with the Kilkenny Nighttime Economy and organised by Castle Mills Events which was founded by a music fan collective which includes city publican Willie Byrne and former record store owner and Kerbdog drummer Darragh Butler
They say; “Live at Castle Mills is something genuinely special. It’s about bringing world-class artists to Kilkenny in a setting that combines scale with intimacy — a beautiful space under canvas by the river, right in the heart of the city. It allows us to create an experience that feels both elevated and uniquely Kilkenny. We’re incredibly excited to launch it.”
Matt Berninger of The National is set to headline on Saturday, 18th July.

He’ll be joined by special guests Lisa O’Neill and and Engine Alley on Saturday, 18th July.
