Shock locally following death in morning road crash on Carlow / Kilkenny border

Shock’s been expressed locally following confirmation of the death of one person in this morning’s road crash.

It happened at about 6am at Ballytiglea, between Goresbridge in county Kilkenny and Borris in county Carlow.

It’s the first such death on roads in our locality this year.
