Cathaoirleach of Carlow County Council, Cllr. Ken Murnane stated “The role that Carlow’s community groups play in driving climate action is truly inspiring. These projects demonstrate how local action can create meaningful change, from encouraging active travel to improving the energy efficiency of community facilities. I would also like to acknowledge the significant time, effort and commitment that each group has invested in developing these proposals. Their hard work will now translate into real, practical actions that will benefit communities right across the County”.
