Eire Óg have secured their place in the semi-finals of the Michael Lyng Motors Hyundai Carlow Senior Football Championship following last night’s dramatic draw with Palatine at Netwatch Cullen Park.
The sides finished 1-14 apiece in an entertaining contest, with the point enough to send Eire Óg through to the last four.
Rathvilly had already secured top spot in the group, finishing on nine points, with Eire Óg also finishing on nine.
Palatine will now have to go through the quarter-finals, where they’ll face Grange.
The other quarter-final sees Old Leighlin, who finished fourth on four points, take on Bagenalstown Gaels, who also finished on four points.

The quarter-finals are scheduled for the weekend of September 10th to 13th, with the semi-finals set for the weekend of October 3rd and 4th.
