There were two closely fought games in the St Canice’s Credit Union Kilkenny Senior Hurling League Thursday Night.
In Group A, Graigue-Ballycallan and Thomastown couldn’t be separated after an entertaining contest, with the sides drawing 1-12 to 0-15.
The result leaves both teams on seven points at the top of Group A after four games, with Thomastown maintaining their unbeaten record.
There was also a big result in Group B, where Danesfort came out on top against O’Loughlin Gaels.
Danesfort secured a 1-19 to 1-17 victory, picking up their second win of the league campaign.
The result sees Danesfort move onto two points, while O’Loughlin Gaels remain on four points after four games.
Those results follow a busy week in the senior league, with Mullinavat beating Bennettsbridge 2-17 to 0-13, while Tullaroan recorded a convincing 3-18 to 1-11 win over Erins Own.
Shamrocks Ballyhale also maintained their perfect record with a 3-21 to 0-23 victory over Dicksboro, making it four wins from four.
Following the latest round of games, the two groups are beginning to take shape.
