Over 90 illegal dumping offences picked up on CCTV in Carlow so far this year

Surveillance cameras have caught over 90 illegal dumping offenses across County Carlow so far this year.

The latest council statistics show the Hacketstown bring bank is the worst-affected area, with 45 separate breaches.

The Tullow bottle banks followed closely behind, with 44 individual offenses captured on camera.

Local authority environment officials confirm that enforcement proceedings have been issued in all cases where the burden of proof was met.
