Nominations being taken for "Carer Of The Year"

If you think someone you know is worthy of a  award in Carlow and Kilkenny, its time to put their name forward.

The Carers Association is calling on you to put down your nominations for 2014.

There are over 6,211 family carers in Kilkenny and Carlow caring for older people, people with disabilities, terminally ill and those with special needs.

‘Time’ is the theme of this year’s awards, highlighting the big jump in the number of older carers.

Local award recipients are invited to the Carers of the Year Awards 2014 ceremony which is being held in November in Dublin.
