Ballyhale Shamrocks emerge from tough encounter with St Martins to book place in County Final

Ballyhale Shamrocks will face Clara in the Kilkenny Senior Hurling final after showing their experience against St Martins in the other semi final.

St Martins led for a time in the first half by four points however the sting was taken out of the tail when Patrick Nolan was sent off for a second yellow card.

Martins kept within 3 points in the last quarter but Ballyhale hit the net courtesy of a Mark Aylward goal in the 48th minute.

TJ Reid got 14 points in the game which finished 1-19 to 14 points.
