Kilkenny withdraw from Walsh Cup as mark of respect to Johnny Ryan

Kilkenny who were due to start their Walsh Cup campaign this Friday have now withdrawn from the competition.

The decision as a mark of respect for the late Johnny Ryan, the father of Lester Ryan.

Carlow will now play NUI Galway in a Play Off on Friday in Fenagh at 7 o clock.
