There was a big reaction today to our panel discussion on us and alcohol. This as a result of the suggestion from Roisín Shorthall that drink prices be raised and sport sponsorship by drink companies be banned. Some Fine Gael Ministers, Leo Varadker and others say this is going too far and tending towards a “nanny” state.
