It’s all for a good cause though, the Gardaí are helping to raise money for Special Olympics locally and are selling the sugary treats.

They’re at the Fairgreen Shopping Centre in Carlow Town and in Bagenalstown at the Green and the Credit Union.
It’s part of the annual collection day and they say they’ll be out until they’re sold out.

Carlow athlete, Anita O’Connor who’s taking part in the Special Olympics in Los Angeles this summer is also collecting and says it’s going well so far.
