Carlow Gardaí appeal for witnesses to burglaries

Carlow Gardai are investigating a number of burglaries that happened yesterday afternoon.

In one incident which happened at Kilmeaney on the Wexford road a selection of garden tools and machinery was stolen.

There was a break-in at Mortarstown and another at Brownshill at around 3.30 in the afternoon.

In both cases the doors of the houses were kicked in and jewellery and other valuables were stolen.

Gardai are appealing for any witnesses.
