A local drugs outreach worker is hopeful that a scheme for heroin users might be available in Carlow and Kilkenny soon.
Nalaxone – an antidote used to reverse the effects of a heroin overdose will be available for prescription from tomorrow under a new HSE initiative being rolled out in 4 cities.
