Brewery Masterplan going on display

The Masterplan for the brewery site in Kilkenny is going on display for locals to check out.

Council members approved the plans at a special meeting of the local authority earlier this summer.

They voted to proceed with amendments that would see a new linear park and the provision of urban space and urban housing as well.

Now a copy of the Masterplan is being put on public display – online on ourplan.kilkenny.ie or it can be viewed at the Planning Dept at County hall in John Street from 9am-1pm or 2-4pm Monday to Friday.

Included is environmental considerations and how they were integrated, how submissions and observations were taken into account and the reasons for choosing this plan over alternatives.
