22 arrests in Carlow and Kilkenny over the Bank Holiday weekend

It was a busy Bank Holiday Weekend for local Gardaí.

Kilkenny Gardaí dealt with 11 public order offences between Sunday and Monday night alone.

9 arrests were made – mostly in relation to people being drunk and disorderly on the streets.

Meanwhile in Carlow, 7 people were arrested for more public order offences.

4 people were also taken into custody by Gardaí for drink-driving.
